Race for Life Us Ladies from General & Medical gave up our time yesterday to run in the Peterborough ‘Race for Life’. We joined 3,500 other women in the wind and rain to raise money and awareness for Cancer UK. Spirits and emotions were high as we set off running and walking with Survivors, current sufferers and ladies running in remembrance, most of us had tears at some point. We had a couple of amazing runner’s, Katie and Tina completing the 5Km run in under 40 minutes and the rest of us finishing within the hour. This race was the first event for most of us and has been so well received we are already talking of bettering our times and dressing up next year.
